Recently I ordered and installed a few storm windows. The reason I purchased them is the fact I had some very old single pane windows and they were quite inefficient. They permitted air and dust inside our home and they just were not getting the task done. I selected storm windows mainly because I desired an affordable alternative which I could install myself. What an excellent decision, they look wonderful, they were a good price for custom storm windows and the home is much more effective now. I really am so pleased about my investment. If you have a similar situation with old single pane windows like me, get a storm window.
